What Is The Best Gaming Graphics Card That Doesn't Cost 2 Arms And A Head?

I am looking for a good gaming graphics card that I can get without paying $600. I would also like it to support DirectX 10. And that uses PCI-E x16. -Thanks!

8800gts is the best bang for the buck imo ...
Reply:well, you can get the 8800gts with 320mb of vram for about 250$ these days, or if you want to pay even less, go with the 8600gts with 256mb of vram - sold for about 180$-210$. these will give you the most amount of performance for the amount of money spent. with the 8600gts, you can overclock them easily. i've seen on forums that these can be overclocked to near 8800gts speed. you'd have to have a good motherboard and a good case for this, though.
Reply:Look at the 8600GTS. You will probably also need a new power supply to get the 22 amps on one 12 volt leg of the power supply required.
