you could build a decent gaming PC for about $500. if you dont know how to build check out dell. MAKE SURE TO HAVE A GRAPHICS CARD. INTEGRATED GRAPHICS WILL NOT PLAY GAMES VERY WELL!!!
Reply:Size does not matter but speed high end graphics card and sound card is important you can get them as high as $5000.00 and lower. Alien Makes the best Gamer computers but find a local geek to help you build one. If no available geek around go to Yahoo Auctions and others that have auctions and check the specks. You can get a 1.8 gig AMD processor and a motherboard with a bus speed of at least 333MHz. higher prefer ed, a sate drive 133 Ms seek time, a ATI video capture card with a minumen of 128 megs of ram a Box with a 450 watt power supply or 600,(better) and at least 512 megs of ram running at 333 or higher this setup can be found New with operating system for between $400. to $800.00 depending on what other equipment you get. like a wireless keyboard and mouse and a wireless game pad to boot.
Reply:If you have a lot of spare cash I would say AlienWare is the way to go, but at a resonable price...If "reasonable" is about...$900, a Dell with 1GB of ram and a nice graphics card would be good. I wouldn't settle for anything less than $400 because it will probably be crappy (which happned to me).
