What is a really good value notebook for gaming?

Preferably less than $1,000 (I know this is very little) and with a decent graphics card. I'm not playing games like Battlefield 2, but tend to play pretty light games like The Sims 2 and stuff like that.

that's more than OK...1000 dollars. I've got an 800MHz NB, with a relatively good graphics card and an P4 at 3,8MHz (or some). And there is not a very big difference... The difference at Notebooks contains in the amount of time necessarily for the battery 2 fill up, and the autonomy. But if you don't care about that, you can find a powerful computer under 1500-1300 us dollars.

Hope this will be helpful! Good luck!
