Well, i'm planning to take up a Diploma in Multimedia and Animation in Singapore, and if I apply for a tuition grant, I'll have to repay the government by working there for 3 years. So, i was hoping that with my diploma, I could land in a good gaming company in Singapore. Answers please!

there are no large animation gaming companies here in Singapore... most of the companies are either outsourced to do animation for AXS machines or touch screen softwares... animation, especially 3d designers are in need and the market is still going strong. if u have to work for a government firm to repay your tuition grant that i guess your school should do the job hunting for you...cuz they cant just expect you to immediately get a job after you graduate. I suggest job searching with the ministry of information communication and arts. i know tons of designers working there.
Reply:There are "gaming companies" in Malaysia, you could just move north a bit I guess.
Reply:There is a few small startup. But there is yet any real success stories that will hire people on the mass.
