How do you write or learn to write a gaming code for a RPG game?

I have no experience with making a game and i have never made a game before, I need a simple way to learn. I want to use dark basic if possible.(The first one)

How do you write or learn to write a gaming code for a RPG game?
There is no ''easy'' or ''fast'' way to code a game, especially from scratch.I suggest you look up some tutorials, and practice ALOT! once you know the basics, you should try modding an open-source game similar to the one you want to make, so you can learn more.
