While still very early on, how long do you guys feel the latest generation (360/PS3) systems will prevail for?
Just curious as to what Microsoft and Sony might have in mind for their next goals. I can only dream of what those will look like.
What are estimations on the release year of next generation gaming systems?
Xbox 360 will have to have one within two years do to the graphics card in the 360 now is outdated and wont handle 3d and 4d realism..... The ps3 an the other hand will have at least a seven year cycle before they start developing the next system..because it is very easily upgraded and is hardware wise already ahead of todays standards. Most games won't fully catch up to the potebtial of the systemfor three years...
THe next ps system will have something like a head gear attachment that can translate your brain waves... so if you are distracted mentally while playing a game your character will demonstrate that you are distracted..If you are mentally tired uyour character will react tired.... Another company is testing this for use with adhd children to help train their brains to stay on task ,,now the gaming industry is looking into it for gaming applications...
