I have Harddrives and a case , i just need to know what graphics card, processor, motherboard and powersupply to buy and can i get it all bundled for under 200 bucks.

What parts do i need for a casual gaming pc?
I'm sorry, but there is no way you can play those games for under $200

The video card for Crysis alone ranges from $200 - $700 alone.

(Depending on if you want to run it on full resolution and detail)

Then a motherboard for another $200, a processor for $300, power supply for $150

RAM

Sound card

monitor

speakers

You won't even get a quarter of the way there with $200

Reply:Firstly, your definition of casual is very inaccurate. Playing the newest/greatest games is not casual gaming. Those games are all very hardcore/graphically intense games which require a LOT of power to run.

Secondly, your budget of $200 isn't going to get you much that will work for those games, You'll be able to buy 1 of the required components, MAYBE 2 if you go really cheap, but again cheap = no hardcore games.

Here's a rough estimate of how much you'll need just to get the games to run. (not perform well)

Motherboard - You can find cheap ones that will have bare minimum specs for around $60-$70, and those are really cheap ones.

CPU - Depending on which route you go (AMD or Intel) you can get a CPU that will just barely run them for around $70-$80

RAM (Memory) - A lot of those games REQUIRE 1GB minimum and recommend 2-3GB, you can probably get by with 1GB and it would cost around $50-$60 for the real cheap stuff

Power Supply - With going really cheap, these get really cheap as well, you can get a 350watt that will again just get by for around $35-$50

Video Card - This is where you will lose all of your performance. The cheaper you go the worse it gets, but if you're going very cheap, you can get one that will barely get by for around $130-$150

So for BARE MINIMUM performance you're looking at somewhere between $355 and $410.

But here's an example of what you can expect.

I just bought a new PC about 6 months ago and it has a heck of a time running the Crysis SP Demo on anything above Medium graphics settings at 1152x864 resolution, and I spent over $1,000 on it. And I went cheap on a few things too.

So what you can expect from the ~ $400 that it would take just to run the games is all Low settings, and no more than 800x600. and you'll end up getting somewhere around 10-25 Frames per second. Nearly Unplayable.

My suggestion is to save up a lot more. Otherwise you really will be playing "casual games," such as solitare, Hearts, and if you're lucky a game of Pinball, and yes I mean the one that comes with windows.

Once you start saving up, use sites like www.pricewatch.com and www.pricegrabber.com to see the absolute lowest prices on things. (aside from used/ebay items) Then get yourself an account at Amazon.com and Newegg.com because they offer a much better shipping rates than the mickey mouse places you'll find on pricewatch and/or pricegrabber. If you spend the extra few dollars and get yourself a premium account with amazon you can get free 2-day shipping, and $2 - $4 Overnight shipping. Comes in handy a lot.
Reply:$200 is not really gonna do it, if you want to play those games.

If i where to build a new PC i would get something like this:

Graphics card: GeForce 8800 GTS ( $330 )

Motherboard and Cpu: GeForce 680i LT SLI, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor - 2.40GHz ( $399 )

Power Supply: Coolmax 600-Watt PSU ( $65 )

Total: $794

Then you will be able to run all the new games with maximum settings.
