Is the game Halo 3 (for xbox 360) more of a online gaming against others on internet or single player mode ?

I have never play halo series but i am hearing a lot about Halo 3 and many people buying it. I just wanted to know what is the main reason people are crazy about this game, is it because it has a very good online gaming feature or is it because of its single player mode ?

well they have a very good story line but if you havent played the first two then you would be lost. But they have the funnest multiplayer ever. So if u never played it before i would recomend getting it and if u play the campaign and dont like it or are confused, rent the other halos. Or just play online. Its totally worth it.
Reply:it depends some people like closer to a game unlike halo 2 and they like the scifi part of the game(which could have been more epic but i am not complaining) and some just like the cool multiplayer that can be played online unlike me cause i dont have xbox live='(. but i like the series in general.
Reply:Its simply because halo is awesome seriously it is one of the best FPSers (beaten only in my books by time splitters but thats just me

Reply:Well beause in all of the haloh games they have exxcelent story modes except i didn't like haloh 2's


but they also have the excelent xbox live feature which is like wifi for nintendo and also you can do alot of great things with multiplayer mode like have a game where one peroson is invisible but its a great game
