Like ram will cause lag right. So what does a video card do?

Reply:a video card processes the graphics of the game seperate from the CPU of the computer. To rum newer high end games you have to have a strong Video Card, at least 1 gig of RAM, 2 gig strongly recommended, and a strong CPU. you can go to fraps.com to get a program that tells you the Frames Per Second or FPS and if it runs over 30 then your ok.
Reply:Hi. You will notice lag if it's bad enough but the image quality has to be set lower on a less advanced card. The GPU has its own processor so your CPU is free to do other things. Also as its own memory.
