Are there any volunteer opportunities for teens who love video gaming?

Our son wants to volunteer using his gaming skills

Are there any volunteer opportunities for teens who love video gaming?
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but there is a charity founded by gamers called Child's Play. There are children's hospitals registered through the charity who include a bunch of toys on a wish list and the site asks if people can donate a toy on the list or donate money. Your son may be able to help get out the word about this charity.

Reply:How about working with disabled children? Video games can often be the great equalizer for children with disabilities and I'm sure the kids would love the attention from an older teen. Your son would also benefit from the opportunity to interact with these children, who tend to be pretty amazing people.
Reply:The Peace corp and its Red Cross affiliates for the holidays.

When I was 16 I held a party for the needy needed holiday

help. I asked for a site, and posted at churches and vendors

that there was a job fair. The needy raised over 6,000.00 and

repaired over 500 toys. They did clean, fix, polish, repair until

the late day for 14 days before christmas, a church gave meals each day to the workers. Good meals, and over 50 players held 10 day tournament playing two games in the 2 main

rooms, an arcade brought prizes for that part donated. 50 families in need got 500.00 each and 500.00 in sponsor gifts. Those 14 families got good tips, and did fine work.
