Im curious on what type of systems will nitendo, microsoft , and sony will release after , wii , xbox 360, and ps3?

What are the new gaming systems that are coming out after wii, xbox 360, ps3?
Nintendo- No intention on a new system right now

Playstation-Not in development now, but it might be called Playstation X if a new one is released

Xbox- i haven't heard plans yet like the playstation but have heard.. Xbox 720 and Xbox revolution

also...Apple might be making a system soon so keep your eyes out

i hope this helped

=)
Reply:I heard something about a xbox 720 box I'm pretty sure playstation is gonna work on there ps3 for 10 years.
Reply:I think its a little soon to be talking about another batch of next gen consoles dont you? Give it a rest. And i hopt to christ apple doesnt make a system, if they try, they wont have a chance in hell, microsoft, sony and nintendo are way to far ahead of the console game, another console would be way to much.

What is the MINIMUM Gaming Pc to have smooth movement and great detail, with cheap pc?

since i got no JOB! I want to buy a cheap laptop, I can afford to get a 2.4 GH and a 2 G Ram with Built-in NVIDIA Geforce Go 8400M-G 256MB Supports up to 1GB Turbo Cache Technology Video,

will this be able to play OBLIVION, BIOSHOCK, and any other games with Oblivion graphics? , i dont want to buy a laptop that i will regret. Of course I can get a 3.0 Gh with good ram if its a PC, but i prefer a laptop so i can show my homework to my F.A.U teacher (MAYA 8) and bring it anywhere.

thanksl for the best answers.

8400M G is still slow for Oblivion. Better get one w/ 8700M GT.
Reply:use Microsoft game advisor to tell you if the computer you have will run a specific game....

Reply:Sounds ok, but just one question: is the processor single-core or dual-core. If its dual-core, you should get some nice detail or some very nice speed w/ minimum details.

If its single-core...you might have some problems in the detail area but should be just fine in the minimum-medium speed area.

The RAM and Video Card sound to be quite good, especially for a laptop though. Should run Maya just fine :p

How can you tell if your video card is inadequate for gaming while you play?

Like ram will cause lag right. So what does a video card do?

How can you tell if your video card is inadequate for gaming while you play?
a booga booga booga

i just ate some cake
Reply:a video card processes the graphics of the game seperate from the CPU of the computer. To rum newer high end games you have to have a strong Video Card, at least 1 gig of RAM, 2 gig strongly recommended, and a strong CPU. you can go to fraps.com to get a program that tells you the Frames Per Second or FPS and if it runs over 30 then your ok.
Reply:Hi. You will notice lag if it's bad enough but the image quality has to be set lower on a less advanced card. The GPU has its own processor so your CPU is free to do other things. Also as its own memory.

What is a good major in college for the design fields of gaming?

I was originally going to go with computer science for programming but I would really rather go for the path of design instead. Unfortunately I haven't found much reference for this field, and thus I don't know what major I should choose.

What is a good major in college for the design fields of gaming?
There are an increasing number of schools offering programs in computer game design. Some offer an actual major, some offer it as a concentration within their computer science program. Here are some great resources to help you get started with your search.

The International Games Developers Association has a great student resource page that includes articles about what to look for in a program, how to break into the industry, and some links to specific programs: http://www.igda.org/academia/

These are two good sites for learning more about the industry:

http://www.red3d.com/cwr/games/

www.gamasutra.com

And, finally, here's a list of colleges that have some sort of game design program. If you work your way through the list, looking at the programs offered at each school, you'll quickly get a sense of what is available and start to narrow down where your interests lie. The list may be incomplete as new programs seem to open fairly regularly.
